Below is an overview of the updates across specific markets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>1. Utility &amp; Authentication Messages<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Rates will be updated in <strong>one market<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Volume tiers will continue helping customers unlock lower pricing as they scale.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Utility messages sent within the 24-hour <a href=\"https:\/\/developers.facebook.com\/docs\/whatsapp\/cloud-api\/guides\/send-messages#customer-service-windows\">customer service window<\/a> will remain <strong>free<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Non-Marketing (NonMM):<\/strong> Rate decrease in <strong>North America<\/strong>.<br><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>2. Marketing Messages<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Marketing message rates will change in <strong>three markets<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>India:<\/strong> Increase<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>France:<\/strong> Decrease<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Egypt:<\/strong> Decrease<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Meta is continuing to enhance marketing message performance. Updates such as <strong>text truncation<\/strong> and <strong>tappable preview headers<\/strong> have increased average click-through rates by <strong>14%<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Meta also introduced the <strong>Marketing Messages API for WhatsApp<\/strong> (formerly MM Lite API). With automatic optimizations and dynamic message limits, high-engagement messages reach more people. In India, these messages saw up to <strong>9% more deliveries<\/strong> than Cloud API.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>New Currency and Billing Enhancements<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>1. Additional Supported Currencies<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>10 new currencies<\/strong> will be added in 2026.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A total of <strong>16 currencies<\/strong> will be supported by the second half of 2026.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Customers may adopt a new currency by creating a new WABA and selecting it during setup.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>2. Local Billing in India and Brazil<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Local billing will go live in <strong>India<\/strong> and <strong>Brazil<\/strong>, enabling eligible customers to pay Meta\u2019s local entity in their local currency.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In India, this begins <strong>January 1, 2026<\/strong>, with updates to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.whatsapp.com\/legal\/country-specific-non-ads-terms\">Country Specific Non-Ads Terms<\/a> .<br><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Key Dates to
